Eton Travel Group secures prestigious American Express Global Business Travel Partnership

Combining local expertise with global clout, customers set to reap rewards

Eton Travel Group (ETG) has announced it has been selected as only one of three American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) Partners based in the UK, following 12 years as an American Express Travel Partner Network Official Representative.

The evolving partnership between the two organisations sees ETG further expanding its international reach, expertise and negotiating power.  For customers, this means an increased ability to realise the greatest value from their investment in travel through enhanced cost savings, outstanding customer service and greater spend control. For GBT the partnership means increasing its ability to localise.

At customer level there is no appreciable difference between American Express Global Business Travel and our network partners. They are an extension of our team, and play an essential role providing local expertise and knowledge that customers need and expect. Over the years, Eton Travel Group has demonstrated a commitment to our network. We are confident they will deliver best in class services to all their customers

Michael Murphy, Director, Global Strategy & Head of EMEA - Travel Partner Network

The move sees Eton Travel Group become an official partner in one of the world’s largest corporate travel networks with locations worldwide. The independently owned and operated Eton Travel Group was selected because of its:

  • Proven commitment to provide quality customer service
  • Proven ability to successfully manage Global and Multi-national Corporate Accounts
  • Growth potential and local market dominance
  • Ability to offer locally sourced fares
We pride ourselves on providing a personalised high touch, white glove service. The partnership with GBT combines their global strength with our extensive knowledge of the EMEA market. We are continually striving to enhance our ability to deliver premium value, globally consistent, high quality service and advice to customers. This is a great step forward
