We first opened our doors on Eton High Street back in 1969. London may have stopped swinging, but we were quickly up and running.
Since then, we’ve gone from strength. Following a management buyout in 2001, we partnered with Advantage Travel, giving our clients access to industry-leading deals on air, hotel, and car rental, 24-hour support and crisis management.
Our expansion has continued through the first two decades, including the acquisition of a specialist events function. In 2022, our 53rd year, Eton Travel was acquired by TakeTwo Travel Solutions.
Eton Travel will continue to operate independently of the group, focussing on our loyal clients, our partners and on continuing to offer great personal service powered by clever technology.
Sustainability
Business travellers are increasingly aware of the environmental impact of their trips. They also want to see meaningful action taken to reflect their concerns in travel policies.
There are plenty of ways in which to make your travel greener. From electric cars and sustainable aviation fuel to offsetting. The problem is that the industry’s sustainability initiatives are so disjointed.
At Eton Travel we are helping our clients to decide what sustainable travel means in practice. Then, using our expertise and technology to turn policy into meaningful action. We can guide travellers towards greener travel options.
Anyone can book travel, but not many people can manage travel. We know that sustainability is now an integral part of managing travel. That’s why Eton Travel will be carbon neutral by the end of 2030.
The travel industry is working hard to reduce and offset its carbon emissions
Diversity, Equality & Inclusion
We understand the value of employing people from different communities and backgrounds. We also know how diverse talent can drive Eton Travel’s growth.
Many organisations and individuals share our commitment to Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DE&I). HR and Travel Managers want to make sure the needs of a diverse workforce are fully met by their travel policies.
We ensure travellers have a full understanding of the different cultures, customers and social attitudes that exist in the countries they visit. These include where to eat, what to wear, handshake etiquette and more besides.
Internally, our Diversity, Equality & Inclusivity plan is a central part of our staff induction programme and is overseen by our DE&I Officer.
Anti-Slavery
At Eton Travel we are fully committed to taking whatever steps we can to fight slavery and human trafficking.
We have a zero-tolerance approach and try to act with integrity in all our business dealings. We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain.
Our Anti-slavery Policy ensures that all those in our supply chain comply with our values. Working with our suppliers, we have implemented an audit process that checks what actions suppliers are taking to ensure our standards are met.
These include identifying potential risk areas; mitigating the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring.
