About Chris...

Over three decades, Chris worked at the top of TMCs across the UK, Europe and North America. At Chambers Travel he led a management buyout, growing the company four-fold by winning and retaining clients thanks to his focus on service and technology. Now, after four years in the US, he’s back and determined to re-invent the TMC service ethic.

Supporting Chris Thelen, the company is led by a team of senior managers, most of whom are shareholders of over 20 years standing.

With a focus on the highest levels of personalised service and cost savings, backed by clever technology and duty of care protocols, the team is committed to delivering both bespoke corporate travel management, holiday, group travel, and event services to clients ranging from SMEs to Multinationals across the globe.

James O’Donnell

James has been with Eton Travel for over 15 years and is focused on managing key partnerships and new sales globally. He also heads up the Eton corporate brand from an operational perspective.

Alison Rodgers

Identifying a gap in the market, Alison, a long-standing Eton shareholder, founded Detonate Travel which is now one of the major players in offering travel services to VIPs in the music & media world.

Christopher Klinker

Christopher has been with the company for many years, he’s a shareholder and has been instrumental in the management of Eton’s specialist division fly2events.com, which is a travel provider for the MICE sector. The team also offers specialist travel management services to academia and the pharmaceutical industry which requires in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation and industry compliance.

Kay Fleet

After being with Eton Travel for more than 35 years, shareholder Kay is our IT and Systems Manager. Kay’s responsibility is to drive innovation and industry-leading technology, adding value to our services and keeping us one step ahead.
